Bio: The Illinois native, Matt Gevers, began swimming at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 2003. His sophomore year, he snagged the NCAA champion title after winning the 100yd backstroke against Ryan Lochte. After graduating in 2007 with a degree in communication studies, Grevers went on to win three medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and three medals at the 2012 Olympics in London-- including a Gold in the 100m backstroke. In 2012, Grevers proposed to teammate, Annie Chandler, at the Missouri Grand Prix.
