I swim mostly freestyle events and going to state champs this winter and doing sprint freestyle (50-200) as well as the 1000, in addition to a little bit of breaststroke and back. which suit would work best for me?
I'm having problems sizing jammers. I've tried low and higher cut versions of the speedo LZR. My problem is I have well developed butt and lower back muscles so there is a "pocket" that forms in the bag of the suit with water going directly into the suit....like a drag suit. Any suggestions on how to get around this? Thanks!
I want buy a new suit but I don't know witch on will be the best. I'm swim butterfly. I was thinking about arena flex or air but also about speedo and jaked. Can somedody recomend something? I really need help. (especially for 200m butterfly)
PLEASE HELP FAT GIRL Im looking for a tech suit knee length, I love swimming and would like to swim competitively. I participated in a swim meet many years ago. Because Im a larger swimmer then most, like the Clydesdale group of bikers that are over a heavier wt. then most other competitive bikers. I have fat pockets on my thighs at the leg opening area of swimsuits. I have now become so self conscience as my mother took pictures from visitor seats higher up then pool level and I has devastated at how much they showed. I can deal with them at practice but I want swim in a meet again until I have something that works better. For now when in the water for fun i have worn a pair of tight compression type running shorts under my suit so I don't feel so embarrassed. But it I want to compete I need a better solution. Do you or any company that you know of make lager tech suits? Im like 1-2 sizes larger then most I have seen online. OK my measurements are bust 50 waist 42 hips 52 hour glass just about 20 inches to big everywhere. ( oh can't have everything) one suit I found that may work is Blueseventy neroFIT Kneeskin Tech Suit SKU: SRFIT-15 Product Code: 8124887 size 36 (not on size chart) Do you think this would work or do you have any suggestions for something that better suits (lol) me.? Would you say different type of swimmers (like backstrokers, flyers, etc) tend to gravitate towards different suits than other type of swimmers? I have seen many of my IM friends go for arena carbons but lots of my backstroke teammates go for Speedo LZRs.
