This item is technically a men's item, but you could certainly wear it as a woman as long as you compare your measurements to the sizing chart to ensure you are selecting the best size.

If fitted properly there should be limited water that gets in. It's not meant to keep you 100% dry, it just made of a thicker material that will keep you insulated.

You do need to take good care of this item after every swim fully washing with fresh water as chlorine will effect the integrity of the fabric but it will work in an indoor pool.
