While this brief is primarily designed for water polo (and it is a great suit for that)...it is also a great brief for training. The fit is extra-snug, and the cut is minimal (obvious for the water polo requirements). But it also makes training a breeze---especially if you like to train for long stretches of time---as there is no binding on the quads or in the crotch to worry about. It's become my favorite suit for both uses. The full lining makes it a bit thicker and heavier than most briefs...but it doesn't affect performance as the suit is so minimal. And, it's durable. I've given up my jammers for training, and now use only these briefs.

Thank you for continuing to offer this older style of suit. The newer spandex materials fit overly snug and conforming for my comfort level. They also do not dry effectively. One of my uses for the suit is to change from street clothes to a wet suit at the beach, then back after surfing or paddling, the faster drying nylon is better for this. I am an aging diver, and I don't care for the overly form fitting nature of spandex on my male anatomy while standing poolside. ---Eric P.
