The item has 2-piece construction: base and tube so yet, it is.

06/16/2017 what is the height of this slide? Can it be used with above ground? Do you have a picture of the back side view where you enter. I am thinking this may be better than the slides I have wasted money on for the past two years. Edit

The packaging does not provide the height of the slide, but the dimensions are 128" x 28" x 48", and the tube is 10ft 8" long, with a diameter of 28". It would not be recommended to use this with an aboveground pool, as it needs to rest flat on the side of the pool to function. We do not have pictures of the entrance to the slide available at this time.

The Swimline Water Park Slide does not require a hose to be hooked up. I would recommend getting it wet before using.
