03/04/2021 Do you know what the resistance weight of this barbell is? Not what it weighs, but what weight is it comparable to of a standard barbell? I know my hand weights are equivalent to a standard 8lb weight. Is it like 20 lbs? More? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

The item does not come in varied resistance. However, you can take away foams on it for lesser resistance.

02/19/2019 What is the bar made of? Is it flexible or sturdy? How much weight will it hold on dry land? Edit

NBR unpolished foam padding, this is sturdy but will be pretty light when dry.

08/22/2017 After using these barbells for a period of time, do thee foam pieces separate or break apart? I've used 3 different barbells and so far all three have either bent or come apart Edit

With proper care your Barbells should not break down and fall apart after a short period of time. Be sure to rinse with clean water after each use and store in a cool dry place standing up at an angle to prevent dry rot. This will help prolong the life of your water weights.

This is not a button, but more like a cap at the end of the bar.

03/28/2017 What is the difference between using 2 bar bells versus using the bar Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

The Sporti Fitness Bar Float Water Weight allows you to take away or add resistance, depending on your skill level. The bar bells are sold in varying resistances, but cannot be altered from their original resistance. Additionally, the bar bells allow for a slightly wider variety of exercises, since you are carrying one item in each hand, as opposed to being limited to the bar.

08/09/2016 I am looking for the "heavy resistance" Barbells. Any direction would be great. Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

This Bar Float is nice because you can add or take away extra resistance depending on your level. If you are looking specifically for Barbells (one weight for each hand), check out the Heavy Water Weights. They come with two Barbells, not the Bar Float style. Hopefully this helps!

05/06/2016 Are these used to hold up an adult and teach them to swim the length of a pool? I wasn't sure if this is what I was looking for. I need an aid to help me teach my students to swim. I was looking for an alternative to a kick board and noodle for variety and to have alternatives. Edit

Yes, you can use the Sporti Fintess Bar Float Water Weight to teach people how to swim the length of the pool.

08/01/2016 What is the dimension of the black bar. Will this hold a 120 lb. person hanging with bar under arms? Compare this one to the orange bar float that is 26 total length with the black bar at 14 inch length please. There are no reviews. Edit

The black bar on this water weight is 26". It will hold a person that is 120 lbs above water if the bar is under the arms.
