    12" black terra cotta thermometer

    Nice that there is no battery, just the coil. Nice heavy weight and casting, though the black paint comes off on your hands (or wall you've hung it on).To remedy, i sprayed the back edges with a clear polyurethane sealer. I foresee plastic hanger becoming brittle and breaking after too many seasons outdoors - CRASH. Am pondering that remedy.
