I use it under my knees on top of my yoga mat to have more cushion since I had surgery on my knees not so long ago. I have to say this was a life saver. It's just the perfect cushioness, not to soft that it crashes and not to hard that it's still comfortable. I've been finding myself using it outside of my yoga mat lately: cleaning, organizing the house, even watching TV on the floor. It's perfect!
