06/17/2018 Does the aqua sphere have to be anchored to a hook/ladder below the water level in the pool? I thought of putting in a stake at end of of pool but it will be above the water line, will that cause a problem? Edit

That will not cause a problem. It can even be attached to a ladder or handrail. So, yes you can do it that way!

Update your question: Content is required.

The cord is about 6 ft from the anchor point to where the buckle is. It stretches out to 8-10', depending on how hard you're working. It can be attached to a pool ladder, rail, etc., and the velcro straps attach to your ankles.
