08/20/2019 Hi, were these designed to be wear without socks? Can I immerse them in the ocean? How ventilated are they (can you see your hand thru the outer mesh layer?)? Edit

The Adidas Men's Climacool Voyager Water Shoes can be worn without socks.  However, the shoes are meant to walk along wet surfaces like a deck, poolside or along the beach.  The shoes do not have the proper ventilation for being immersed.

I prefer to wear these for water activities (like walking around a splash park or boating), they are quick drying, but you are right there are no drainage holes in the sole.
