Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

This suit is very cute, and the fit is great (with one exception). Has plenty of rear coverage, the neckline is cute, and the pattern is bright and so fun. However, trying to swim laps in it was not very comfortable. It felt like my chest was going to fall out the sides when I'd start swimming. While I stayed covered the whole time, it was uncomfortable enough that I'm not sure if I'll wear it again any time soon. For someone with a smaller chest, this might be a great suit!

Having the sides of the bathing suit open (Cross back) allows for water to 'swoop' in when entering the water or kick turning. This created a air or ballooning effect when swimming because there was less (strap) point of contact with the skin as opposed to one where you have a circle back and then the straps. It also felt tight (length wise) because of the cross straps, almost like a halter effect.
