Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I measured my small 9 year old before ordering, and I’m so glad I read all the reviews saying to order up one size. Honestly, I should have ordered up 2 sizes! She has a small bulge coming out the bottom back hole of the swimsuit and she is a skinny girl. Ridiculously tight!
