Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Yes it definitely runs a little large. I was going to size up as I’m pregnant and my regular sporti suit was feeling very snug. But after reading the reviews I bought my regular size. It’s perfect. If you’re not expanding, like me, size down!
The tie straps feel very secure and allowed me to pull it nice and snug with no slipping while I swam. I like that I can adjust the fit as my pregnancy progresses. Very happy with this suit.
