I'm learning to do aqua fitness - and needed something to give my legs a workout. These fit the bill and even though they're "heavy" they are not too much resistance to be usable for me, 60+ yr old female.

I rely on these resistance cuffs for my usual physical therapy routine in the water. This is my third pair. A lot of people also use them in water aerobics, both shallow and deep. For a while regular resistance cuffs seemed to have disappeared from the market in favor of hard plastic devices that are great for individual water workouts, but not for water aerobics classes or for physical therapy patients using them when they would be using stretch bands on land. I know the senior staff at pools in my area were very upset when it looked like no one was making resistance cuffs now. Both kinds of devices are needed and they are not substitutes for each other. Bravo to SwimOutlet for understanding the need!
