Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

These are cute and they were a good buy. I am using these for water aerobics class. I have a large scar from melanoma surgery (we jokingly call it my shark bite) so I like to cover it at the pool so I don't have to answer questions about it. I am an open-water swimmer, but wear a wetsuit for that. These leggings are perfect and they look good at the pool. I can wear them for kayaking too.
