I've been a lap swimmer ~3x per week for the last 15 years. The Speedo silicon swim caps used to last me at least a year. Now the material is noticably thinner, rips easily within a few uses, and is much smaller in size. It is practically impossible to keep this cap on, it slides off as I swim laps and I have to readjust multiple times. Very disappointed. Will have to try another brand.

Short hair swimmer and this cap is great. Wet my hair before putting on the cap and not too tight. Keeps excessive water from my ears and I am more comfortable.

This silicone cap can last for a long time. I used one for 2 summers in a row and I swam 4-5 days max a week. It finally tore late last summer so, I ended up getting the same silver silicone swim cap! It is easy to put on and easy to take off. Most importantly, it stays on during the mile swim. It might have also lasted longer because I did wash it with water after every swim.
