I had been using the original FINIS snorkel, which I like but sometimes took water when I put my head down. But the Freestyle snorkel seems to be wetter-- it is always gurgly and I am always blowing out a little water.

I bought this snorkel because my side snorkel seems to get in the way of my earphones I use when swimming to listen to music. I love the idea of a center based snorkel but this particular one has a very very heavy center piece made of hard rubber that sits on your forehead flat with the slightest curse that never softens up so this thing is gouging into my forehead. Today it knocked my goggles off and other times it just flopped off my head laying flat on the water so I had to interrupt my lap and readjust. If that big heavy piece of rubber was adjustable to each person's head it might work. I tried tightening the straps but it pushed harder on my forehead so that didn't work. I am returning them today. I give up. Back to the super lightweight side snorkel.

Mouthpiece is harder than the other finis snorkel which makes this freestyle snorkel harder to use. Takes awhile to adapt to this mouthpiece.

I previously had the KRAKEN Aquatics snorkel which has a much more comfortable mouthpiece. This one is stiff and narrow. Also, the almost 90 degree angle between the mouthpiece and the tube doesn't work for me. Need a snorkel that has a bend like this but will have to keep looking.
