After reading reviews from others saying the fit was tight, I ordered a large. The large was way too big. I'm 5'7 and about 133 lbs, typically wear a size 6 and/or medium clothing. I really like the color and the material seems quality. Since I ordered the item on clearance, I can't exchange for a smaller size :( Going to try and make my own alterations, hopefully it works and I didn't just waste my money.

I love the feel and the look. 5' 4" 140 pounds and got the large. This size would NOT work for in-water use as there is around 5" of extra space at the waist. But, everywhere else fits beautifully. I didn't realize the string tie is only in the front and doesn't go around the waist like a drawstring. Inspecting them to see how to take them in a little bit, I saw that the finishing was a little poor (untrimmed threads) compared to the fabric, which feels premium. I marked them "true to size" for streetwear, they run really large for swimwear.
