07/10/2017 Am I reading the size chart correctly a 30" waist is a size 22? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

No. Look at Speedo site. You will see there is a Youth Aquablade Jammer Style 750965 and a Men's Aquablade 750966. They have two different Size Charts. A Size 24 Youth has a 25 1/2 " waist. It fit my 9 year old.

02/07/2017 my son is almost 13 years old, he is 6'7" tall, 115 lbs, waist 30", What size should he wear?If you go by the size chart, then he should be size 22. That doesn't sound right. Thanks Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Based on your son's waist measurement he would be a size 22 in the Speedo Aquablade Male Jammer Tech Suit. I would recommend getting his thigh measurements as well to ensure this size will fit him properly.

02/04/2017 Hi - My son is 10 y/o, 78 lbs. His waist measures 27", thigh 15.5". Will the 22 fit him properly? If too big, where can I find a size 20 in this, or a similarly priced suit? Thanks. Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Based on your son's measurements, a size 22 in this suit would likely be too large for him. We have a selection of size 20 jammers available at this link; sizing varies between brands and from suit to suit depending on the style and materials, so we recommend taking his measurements and comparing them to the sizing chart for each item you're interested in.

12/25/2016 Are these actually youth sizes? The sizing chart says a 22 is for a 30 inch waist. Edit

Yes, the size is the waist measurement.

11/07/2016 My son is 11 and his waist meausres 26 and he is on the slim side, he normally wears youth 26 Jammer, can you let me know what size of your Tech suit Jammer I should order for him? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

We suggest the size 24. This will fit a waist 25 1/2 inches. The next size 26 will fit a waist 27 1/2 inches which is too large.

09/25/2016 From the size chart, it looks like it's adult's size. My son is 10 year's old, about 84 lb, usually wear size 26 for youth size. So, whic size should I order? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

We got a 24 for our 8 yr old. He wore 2 yrs. this past summer we also got for our 12 yr old- a 28. I think build is important. Our 8 now 10 yr old is very slim so he usually wears size behind most of his age group. Whatever your son's fave jammers are, I'd try that size first. These fit a little more snug than regular jammers.

08/25/2016 Is this the same material as the Fastskin FS II Brief? That is, does this suit have the same "shark" skin fabric as the Fastskin II? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Both are made of the same material (Polyester/Lycra). It does not have the shark's skin pattern as the Speedo Fastskin FS II Brief Tech Suit but it features a slight textured vertical pattern for less resistance.

07/28/2016 Is the Speedo Aquablade actually FINA approved for 2016? I couldn't find it on the FINA list of approved suits. Edit

This suit is Fina approved for competition.

02/11/2016 Is this suit water repellant or just a compression suit? Edit
Update your question: Content is required.

Hi Debbie: not quite sure what you are asking, beyond the suit description: it is of woven water permeable, non-plastic, non-rubber, to comply with FINA requirements, compression within FINA limits insofar as it is fit snug. Claims that pattern helps to channel water flow. We use it for our high school boys. They like the fast feel without having to take out a second mortgage on the house to pay for it.
