  • 8/20/2015 Great product for the right purpose

5 Review Stars By Bart B.

This is a 5-star quality product when purchased for an appropriate use, when it fits. Reading lower-star reviews, it seems that many people either couldn't get a good fit, or don't need this type of shoe. They're a little hard to get on, they require some getting used to and they're not cheap. If you enjoy a sport around water (e.g. surfing, beach running, boating, paddling, etc.) and you'd rather be barefoot, but you want a little something to protect your feet, this is it, there's nothing like it, give it a try. There's no better way to feel what's beneath your feet than this, except barefoot. Use the sizing chart; these need to be snug.

  • 5/21/2015 Not sure about this item yet

    2 Review Stars By Stephanie

My husband jet skis often and goes through water shoes fast. He walks hard on his feet The shoes look good and are comfortable however there not sturdy. The bottoms are very flimsy ( thin) but the stronger bottom shoes cost much more. We usually spend between 75.00 and 125.00. I don't think I would order them again. The season just started so who knows ?? If they last longer then I'm expecting I will update my review

  • 8/1/2016 Too small

    2 Review Stars By Emily

They look nice and are soft but hey we're too small. My husband wears a mens 13 in all his shoes and these came as a 46. Some size chart conversions say 46 is a 13 but it's not in reality, not sure what that's about. We have sketchers shoes that say in the shoes that 13 is a 47.5 and this is right. We are confused by those size charts that say a 46 is a USA 13 because it is not at all. They were even small on my brother in law who has smaller feet Than my husband. Swim outlet could not work with me because I already took these expensive shoes overseas and they won't cover the exchange from here.

  • 8/25/2017 Fell apart in 1 month

    1 Review Stars By Emmett

When I got these, they were just what I was hoping for.  They were very comfortable, but I was concerned with the thinness of the sole.  Within a month, the "Vibram" sole began to come off in chunks, beginning at the toes, and I had to throw them away.  Definitely not good quality in the stitching either.  Not worth the $$ I paid for them.

    5 Review Stars By Demetrius

This pair is for my son and he loves them.  I've had my KSO Treks for years,  might be time for a new pair. To this day,  they are still performing very well.

    1 Review Stars By jacob

Im pretty easy to please. These shoes don't do it for me. They fit perfectly in the big toe but all the other toes are about twice the length needed. They cause blisters and are generally painful to wear and u won't be able to run as quick in them. I bought them for summer at a carwash. I feel like I wasted 60 bucks.

ABOUT THIS BRAND

Vibram Fivefingers

When Vibram founder, Vitale Bramani, invented the first rubber soles for mountaineering boots in 1935, it was the beginning of a revolution. Now, 75 years later, Vibram is still known around the world as the undisputed leader in soling technology for a wide-range of quality performance footwear products.

Vibram continually exhibits their relentless commitment to research and product innovation. When creating the Vibram FiveFingers®, Vibram collaborated with the full Vibram team to position these shoes as a performance product for running, fitness, and outdoor sports. This shoe started out as a concept and quickly turned into, what they call, a barefooting revolution.

FiveFingers shoes not only encourage a more natural forefoot strike during running, but they allow the foot to move and work in a completely natural way. Also providing grip and protection over a variety of surfaces, these shoes have been shown to relieve knee pain and soreness that traditional running shoes worsen.

It is important to note that running in Vibram FiveFingers requires a significant increase in lower leg and foot strength. A gradual transition is critical to avoid overuse injuries.
