love the perfect fit.  I got the large and I am 33 waist and 41 hips or so.  material super.  Had some problems getting used to the skirt part flipping up during water aerobics.  Kept adjusting the side slides.  Decided, love it anyway.   legs ride up a bit but most suits are that way.

  • 6/30/2017 So cute, and SO UNCOMFORTABLE

    1 Review Stars By MH

I bought this last year.  I was so happy when I tried this on and it was the cutest bathing suit bottom ever.  And then I was so sad after I decided to keep it, washed it, and put it on without underwear on - and discovered a million seams running through the crotch which I didn't notice when I had my undies on.  When the shorts ride up, so do the seams - so uncomfortable.  For the life of me, I'll never understand why anyone thought to put so many seams in the crotch of a bathing suit, but even more I'll never understand why no reviews mention this.  I'm 5'5"/130 lbs, so it's not like I'm busting out of it.

The tankini top, however, rocks.  Love it.

I was surprised to find long pants under the skirt."Built-in sporty shorts" did not give me a feeling that the short would be long. I imagined a boy-short. So, if someone wants a little longer leg short, it is fine, but I was not expecting that. I can push up the leg, so I kept it

I was looking for a bottom to go with a top I found elsewhere. This has excellent coverage without looking dowdy. Love how the sides can be adjusted. The fit was just right. I'm very happy with the purchase.

  • 12/13/2016 Why is there a USA Swimming logo on this?

5 Review Stars By Rachelle L.

Love the fit so I am keeping this. (Also leaving for a cruise and need a scuba suit... so this is what I have)

REALLY disappointed that the picture did not show this big logo.  Which, if I were on the USA swim team would be fine.  But I'm not.

So sad face for it not looking like the picture...  would have totally been 5 star otherwise.

  • 6/17/2014 Exactly what I was looking for!

5 Review Stars By Tiffany G.

This fits well and is what I was looking for. A skort to swim in that is tighter fitting as to trap less air when getting in the water. The shorts are a good length. Looks cute!

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
