Perfect solution for these Unusual times!

The most important thing is that the suit keeps me comfortable in my 67 degree swimming pool! Im usually swimming indoors this time of year but our pools closed, of course. Our unusually cold spring made a wetsuit mandatory this year. I ordered the suit appropriate for weight and height. It is difficult to get on, however, since the material is quite stiff. So far, it takes about ten minutes to get on. I have to pinch the material (carefully with gloves) about every two inches to get a good fit on the thighs. I’m not sure if a higher-priced suit would have same challenges. Torso and arms are tight but easier to get on. I am 72 so anyone my age knows you lose some hand strength in certain movements like pulling up a wetsuit! That said, it gets easier everyday- I’m on Day 5 now and have cool wet weather ahead. My wetsuit will enable me to swim!! Can’t seem to upload a pic. 😁🏊‍♂️

    Sizing

The suit was extremely same. I weigh 90lbs and am 5'2. According to sizing chart small would fit but it was so small I could barely get it on. Otherwise, the suit was lovely. Next size up would probably be too long as the length of arms and legs was perfect.

    Full length compression suit

I am 5-feet tall and weigh about 95 pounds. Sizing guide suggested I get an XS, but I went with a Small because it was available. I cannot imagine how I could ever have gotten the XS on because the Small was problematic enough—so tight. The ankles came up to the proper spot (according to the video)—so I think the Small is the appropriate size. The global pandemic has shut down our pool so I got the wetsuit to allow me to swim in the local lake. The wetsuit kept my legs and torso pretty warm, but swimming was really difficult because of the excessive compression on my ribcage. I have a pretty small upper body so I was not expecting to feel strangled. The buoyancy is also awkward as it puts me in a completely different body position. I am sure that I could get used to the change in body position, but the compression is pretty problematic. I felt like I couldn't breathe properly which coupled with the cold and murky water just made the swim session a half-hour lesson in not freaking out.... I will give it another few attempts given my lack of options, but the tightness is a problem. I am hoping it will "stretch" a bit after a few uses. I do have a slightly longer torso which may explain why the Small fits me lengthwise, but again the big issue is the tightness. I tried on a few other brands and they were all too long or baggy. The only good thing about the tightness of this wetsuit is that I ended up swimming a lot of breaststroke (couldn't see where I was going) and the…

    Perfect!

Really happy with this new wetsuit. I had been using the same wetsuit for the past 25 years and it was time for an upgrade...plus I needed one that would keep me warm during this season (September) in our cold MT lake. I have used it twice and the lake has been 68 degrees. So far so good! I am hoping it will continue to keep me warm as the lake cools...at least to 62 degrees. I swim for about an hour and by the end of my swim my hands and feet are getting a little cold but otherwise I am in good shape. I am 5' 6" and 125 lbs and I got a medium. I think I would have been ok with a sm/med but the medium is fine. I had previously been wearing a small that I purchased 25 (!) years ago and it was time for more room!
