  • 10/21/2015 👍 special ops

    4 Review Stars By Chris

This is a great goggle. My daughter has sensitive eyes and normally with her other goggles she would be squinting while in and around the water. This is no longer an issue with the special ops.

The femme size appears to be the same size as the small

  • 12/12/2020 Fantastic goggles for indoor or out

4 Review Stars By Ms. Lapper

These are some of the best goggles I''ve owned, purchased primarily for year round lap swimming. The double strap creates a variable fit on the head, which allows straight back, upwards or lower tension, depending on where you need it. I was concerned before purchase about the lack of adjustable nose piece (I have a high bridge, narrow nose) but they fit fine across the bridge. The polarization isn't so strong that you can't see in low light - in fact they are great in any light. The only drawback I''ve experienced is the size of the goggle eye piece. I have hooded eyes, so creating a suction fit to my eye socket means a lot of my eye fat gets sucked into the goggle. It feels a bit like my eyes are over-pressured, but over time I''ve figured out to fit and refit until I''m comfortable.

    Overall a great goggle.

  • 12/25/2015 Great goggles

5 Review Stars By Old Man Nick

Christmas present for the real athlete in the family.  I like these TYR goggles, I had used Barracuda for years.  The anti-fog coati g is the best I've used.  Just to be sure to not touch the inside if the lens and rinse them after a swim.

4 Review Stars By Laura T

Bought these because I really liked the idea of polarized lenses since most of my training is in the ocean. The lenses are great but I wish I would've noticed that the nose bridge isn't adjustable. My face is not very big and I have to fidget a lot with the goggles until I get them to sit just right. Once that happens all is great.

  • 1/15/2020 Broken Clip After 2 Uses

1 Review Stars By Michelle D.

The plastic clip on the goggles straps broke after 2 swim team practices. My daughter has had other pairs of goggles forever, but misplaced them so we decided to try these since we like other TYR goggles. Thoroughly unimpressed and annoyed that they are basically useless now

  • 7/19/2019 bad design

1 Review Stars By Yoga gram

These goggles broke the first time I tried to put them on even though I had sufficiently loosened the strap. I am a regular lap swimmer and not new to goggles and their use but these are just badly made.

About This Brand

TYR

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
