  • 1/28/2021 Lovely design, but small

    4 Review Stars By TeresaMallard

The extra large fit like a large.  Otherwise, good fabric and design.

I really love this top! The fabric is excellent and it fits great. I have a long torso and it is long enough that I don’t have to keep pulling it down. I would purchase again.

  • 8/4/2020 Nicely made but too TIGHT up top and long in torso

3 Review Stars By Lynn R.

Was TIGHT up top and long for ME in the torso. Was not comfortable for me. A larger size would have made it TOO big in other areas.

Tankini fits perfectly. I spent a week at the lake wearing it every day. It was a pleasure to swim in

  • 7/29/2020 Great bust support, nice length

I am 5'6" and 145 lbs, 36D chest, and this top fits perfectly in a size large. I love how supportive it is, and the fabric and straps feel very sturdy. It almost feels like a running tank - would be great for active watersports. I also like how long it is - I have a shorter torso, and it comes down to about the middle of my hips. I don't have to worry about pulling it down at all. The only thing I would change is having the very bottom of it taper in a little more. Otherwise, love this top!

  • 10/20/2018 Great quality tankini

4 Review Stars By Active mom

This top was very nicely made. The bra was padded so no see-through ability. The top hung loose in the stomach area, which most people like. I was looking for a tighter fitting top to swim laps in so I ended up sending this back. For reference, I am 5’3” and #102. I ordered the small and it was too large. Really well made top, though.

  • 7/28/2020 Runs small

    5 Review Stars By Janet

I know this brand tends to run small. In clothes, I wear a small (size 4-6), but I tend to buy a medium in bathing suit tops because they always seem tight across by chest. With this brand, I bought a large based on past experience with the brand, and it fits comfortably across my chest. I was worried it would be too large through my rib cage but, while it does not fit snugly, it is not too large for me. The overall quality seems excellent.

  • 1/26/2019 Decent, Not Great

    3 Review Stars By Mila

The "padded cups" inside the top are detachable. Sounds good but the cups move around and bunch up, so they're useless. In the water it's like 2 wet pitas smashed into the suit, which is gross. I took them out to avoid creases and bunching but without them, the top smashes my chest so much I look male. I'm not thrilled but I'm keeping it because it's serviceable.

About This Brand

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
