  • 5/8/2008 Better than swedes

4 Review stars By Anonymous person

Over the past years i've worn nothing but swedish goggles to practice and for races then one day i came across these and they are FANTASTIC. They give the same field of vision likes my swedes but they have the padding around the eye for more comfort. It's the best of both worlds! If you love your swedes i would honestly give these a try.

  • 5/8/2008 Excellent goggles

4 Review stars By Eli Gaugush

These goggles are excellent, except for the strap. The strap tends to shred after just a few weeks. I replaced the strap with a bungy strap and now their perfect. They are so good in fact that almost my entire team uses them (with bungy straps).

  • 1/17/2008 Buyer Beware

2 Review stars By Swim Chick

They aren't kidding when they call this a "socket rocket" -- these things literally sit inside your eye socket. I can't imagine anyone enjoying that sensation -- it felt awful immediately, no matter how much I adjusted the nosepiece or the straps. I have a very narrow face so I have a hard time finding a good fit with goggles in general, but these were particularly bad with the way they seem to cup your eyeballs. Totally weird.

  • 10/4/2007 Finally - goggles that fit

5 Review stars By Anonymous person

I have always had trouble finding goggles that fit as I have a very narrow, bony face and eyes that are very close together. After perservering for years with goggle after goggle and continuously bruised eye sockets from pulling straps tighter to prevent the inevitable leakage, I have found Goggle Utopia! The thin gasket makes these fit a little better than the Swedish goggles. Highly recommended for those people having trouble finding goggles that fit.

  • 10/4/2007 Best of All Goggles

5 Review stars By Julian Whatley

I've been swimming seriously since age 5, and these are absolutely the best goggles I've ever used. And I've used them all. I'm kind of a goggle freak. The design of these goggles is incredibly simple, but you get everything you need. They're based on the classic Swedish goggle, but have a thin rubberized gasket that makes them comfortable. The nose piece stretches comfortably over your nose. They never leak. They're just as good for training as they are for racing. They have outstanding peripheral vision. I tried putting on my old pair of Speedo Vanquishers the other day, and they made me feel claustrophobic by comparison.
