    5 Review Stars By Del

I entered a TRI and chose this short for it's length, manufacturer and colorful style. The short performed great, stayed on my thigh, no roll up, and was totally comfortable beheath the wetsuit, on the bike and had great compression on the run.

  • 9/12/2016 nice shorts but

4 Review Stars By tri and inline guy

Great shorts but they run small.  I am 6'0" and 176 lbs.  The mediums were waaaaaaaay too tight.  Ordered a size Large and they fit great.  Will be returning the mediums.
I sure could have worn them I guess, but the larges fit better, in spite of the sizing chart.

Just did my 1st 70.3 Iornman & They worked good for swimming and bike. The pad is a little to big to run in but was great for the bike. Will continue to use these for future tris and training

  • 5/8/2015 exposed gel

    2 Review Stars By Rick

The fit is good, but the gel is exposed along the edges of the pad and it rubs the inside of your thighs raw.  I have to wear another layer to compensate.

    3 Review Stars By Tony

I wear a size 32 shorts, as as first time triathlon/swimmer I bought the medium because they fit a size 32" waist.  Long story short...they fit, but are tighter (just past uncomfortable) than what I would have thought.  Snug to reduce drag, I got that, but this was like a girdle (I assume, never wore one).  I exchanged for a large and am pleased.

5 Review Stars By Melissa 77

Great fit true to size comfortable.  I purchased these shorts in size medium for my husband who is training for his first triathlon and he loves them.  The length on the thigh is also good not too short or long just right.

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
