  • 2/8/2021 This suit is really worth the money!

5 Review Stars By Swim mom life

This was my 15 year olds first tech suit. We bought it for use at his High School regional event. I ordered one size bigger, size 29 vs 28, than what his measurements called for because that was the only size in stock. I knew tech suits were made to really compress but we were both surprised by how hard it was to get on the first attempt. Don’t give up! It will go on and he said it was very comfortable. He ended up winning 1st in one event and 2nd in the other. We both feel that the suit was a huge benefit!

5 Review Stars By Lara D.

My 11 year old used this for his championship meet. He is approximately 105 lbs and 5 feet 5 inches tall. He ordered a size 22 and it fit exactly as it should. He has an athletic build but you should know that it is VERY low cut so if you think that you or your swimmer would have a problem with this, this is not the suit for you!

The video showing how to put it on was very helpful, that lead to good experience. This wasn't his first tech suit, but this one is his favorite.

5 Review Stars By 15 yo swimmer

My 15 year old High School swimmer who weighs 150 pounds , size men’s small pants and team speedo size 30 ... bought this TYR suit in a size 28
We knew it would be a little time consuming to get it on .. and it was, but it was perfect fit.
The only issue he had was when he took it off to use the restroom he could not get it back on while wet.
This is an issue with all race suits, so no fault given to this suit.  Just make sure you pack an extra suit just in case

  • 1/23/2020 Everything it Promised

5 Review Stars By Steve’s Dad

My son loved the suit: quality, bright colors, etc.  However, we had to return it as the size seemed a bit small for him.  Specifically, the crotch area pressure caused pain.  Why the great rating?  The suit was so nice, we just ordered the next larger size.  That should be evidence of what we thought about the make and model.

  • 12/11/2019 Excellent tech suit!! My son what thrilled with this suit dropping 30 secs.

    5 Review Stars By KEM

My son loves this suit. He said it was light-weight and fit well. He ended up dropping close to 30 seconds in his 200 IM time, which was fantastic! Thank you, Swimoutlet! I received it in plenty of time for his qualifying meet. He qualified for three additional events in the invitational meet.

  • 8/7/2017 One of the best suits I've used

5 Review Stars By Andrew S

The product comes with a booklet that explains the process of putting it on, taking it off, and maintaining a good condition after usage. This is by far one of the better tech suits on the market for a good price. Not a lot of tech suits come with the rubber linings on the legs and hips, so it was awesome to see that this was an effective feature of this suit. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a way to drop time at their next big swim meet!

  • 11/18/2015 Great suit

5 Review Stars By J Sampson

I wear a 28 in a practice suit and I wore a 24 in this suit. The suit was really easy to put on but it still had an amazing amount of compression. The water repellency was great and I felt the suit helping my muscles in the water

About This Brand

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
