I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs. so I'm usually a small.  The small was too tight in the chest area, however, so I exchanged it for the medium which fits well.  So, I would say this tri suit runs small.  I'm happy with the medium though.

    5 Review Stars By Kendra

I did have to order a size up from M to L since I read the reviews and it said to go a size up if you had a longer torso.  Used this for my first race and it was wonderful for transitions and comfortable the whole time.  It is also a great suit to do your brick training in.  The price is also great!

This suit runs a tad small. I am 5'3" 102 lbs and a small is snugg. Mostly in the length. Happy with it overall!

  • 10/12/2011 Good for the price

    4 Review Stars By Queenie

Purchased to use for my first tri.  It was comfortable, looked good and dried fast.  The only negative was the zipper did not stay half way zipped during the race.  It kept zipping all the way down so I had to zip it all the way up.  I do have a large bust so that may have been the problem.  But still great for the price.

Ran small. I typically wear extra large tops because of my chest area (D cup). This was entirely too small and wouldn't zip correctly. Other than that the fabric seemed light and breathable.

This was a great trisuit...it fit well, looked great, and reasonably priced. I did not realize that there was no built in bra, but I am not very big so it did not end up being a problem, it is fitted enough on top that I was comfortable! ;)

So far I like the product. I did read the reviews and I'm 5"5" and 120lbs. I typically wear a small, but I ordered the medium and glad I did. My first run in the Trisuit was a 7 mile run and I did get a small cut from the bike seat rubbing. But I think in the 5K run at the end of the Sprint it will be fine.

I felt it was a bit of a short suit.  It did a great job for the tri, but I think it could have fit a bit better and been a little more comfortable in the arm and shoulder area.

Bought to use in my first tri. Didn't want to spend a lot of money. Fits a little small but overall very happy with suit!!

ABOUT THIS BRAND

TYR

Founded in Southern California in 1985, TYR™ has since developed a reputation for high-quality products and equipment. TYR competition swimwear and triathlon gear have been a dominant force in their respective industries. The company is also known for its TYR goggles, swim apparel, triathlon wetsuits and a wide variety of swimming equipment.

TYR was the first company to introduce a pair of goggles designed to fit a woman's face (the TYR T-72). TYR was also responsible for the famous red bathing suits featured on the hit television series "Baywatch." TYR consults with current and former athletes when developing its products. Swimmers know that TYR is a leader in swimsuits, warm-up suits, and swim training equipment. The TYR Tracer Series is one of the most advanced technical suit lines on the market. The TYR Hurricane wetsuits and the TYR Torque collections include top-of-the-line suits for the competitive swimmer.

TYR has also moved into competitive running equipment. From running shirts to shorts, its apparel is designed with the runner in mind. Built with moisture wicking fabric and antimicrobial material, TYR running apparel is designed to give the athlete the most comfortable, dry clothing on the market.

The name "TYR" is derived from the Norse god of warriors, who is said to have embodied victory and glory. Much the same can be said about the athletes who started TYR. Executive Vice President, Steve Furniss, was an Olympian who competed in the 1972 and 1976 Summer Games, and captained the 76th U.S. Olympic Swim Team.
