    • Low-profile look.
    • No-gasket design.
    • Sleek fit and look.
    • Easy-to-assemble.

    Assembly Instructions

          1. Thread nose string through the first lens using the small hole located at the side of the lens.
          2. Slide the blue nose cover over both ends of the nose string.
          3. Thread one end of the nose string through the remaining lens and tie with a knot.
          4. By sliding the string, you should be able to hide the knot inside the blue nose cover.
          5. To attach the rubber strap, push each end of the rubber strap through the opening on the edge of the lens.
          6. Pull equal lengths through the lens hole, so that you can tie the strap in a knot.
          7. The rubber strap now acts as a double headband.
          8. If you find you need to tighten further you can untie the shorten up the length.
          9. Once you reach a comfortable length you can cut off any extra of the rubber strap.
          10. Some swimmers use a small section of the rubber strap in place of the nose string and blue nose cover.
          11. Using about 1½ inches of the rubber strap thread the ends through the string holes.
          12. The rubber strap will stay secure without having to tie a knot.

Nothing fancy about these do it yourself goggles, but they remain my favorite.

  • 6/18/2009 GREAT GOGGLES

5 Review Stars By Joe H.

I used to use the speedo vanquisher but then i went to socket rockets and now to swedes. These are by far the most comfortable when you get used to it. The shipping was very fast which suprised me because i got the standard ground shipping. It came in pieces but I just looked at the directions on this site and it was complete in like 3 minutes. I mean seriously people are complaining about it being uncomfortable and hard to put together but I'm 12 and i can do it.

Arrives in parts & must be assembled with no instructions. Once I got assembled, eye cups felt abrasive, lacking any cushioned rubber seal. Once I tried in the pool, they proved to be fairly comfortable with a good seal. Overall, a good value.

I've been wearing swedes for the last couple of decades and thought they didnt get any better.  Scout out the Sporti Antifog "swedes" with a bungee strap (dont worry, if you're traditional like me and want the rubber strap - they come with the traditional strap AND an additional bungee).

Wanted to like these goggles, but no matter what I do, they leak. Have tried both nosepiece options and tightening and loosening straps. I guess they just don't fit my face well.

  • 1/6/2015 Best Goggles, Period.

5 Review Stars By Doug Jones

I have been using "Sweeds" since my competitive swimming days back in 1994.  They are the best goggles for any level of swimmer. Once you make your own custom pair, you know you have arrived as a true swimmer.  I plan to get more pairs in differing colors.  Tip: for a really freaky look buy two separate colors and mix them.  It looks cool and distracts your opponent!

  • 7/24/2017 Swedish goggles. That's what I needed.

Essentially, they are the original Swedish goggles. If you wear them, you live  them. Adjustments are always intricate at the beginning but once you start wearing them you'll never want another goggle.

Love these goggles.  I use a nail file around the edges because sometimes the plastic is a little sharp when they are brand new.  The "smoke" color is more of a dark brown, not the aesthetic I was going for (its usually all about lookin good) but works awesome for sunny swims.

These are awesome goggles at an even better price! Assembly is really straightforward if you've worn Swedes before. Sometimes out of the bag, the plastic around the edge of the eyepiece can be sharp, so I recommend sanding it down with a nail file or something. They don't fog very much either. Would recommend!

Swedish goggles are a necessity for many swimmers- they continue to be swimoutlet.com's best-selling product to date. Self-assembly is not a deterrent due to the level of fit that can be achieved only by personal assessment and adjustment. The gasket-less design is ideal for some swimmers for conforming to faces and curbing water leakage. Since 1974, manufacturer Malmsten has been a supplier of pool equipment, water toys, swimming gear, and of course, the famous Swedish goggles—available in a variety of colors and metallized finishes.
