Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I would say this suit runs true to size. The straps are really thin and the fabric is heavy since it is reversible. I would agree it does not feels cheap but the suit tends to pull down due to the heavy fabric and thin strap combo
