Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

This suit holds up well through meet after meet. We do "save it" and use other (usually older or second-hand) suits for practice and "fun-swimming", but these have not faded, the elastic has not become brittle, nor has the fabric relaxed nor become pilly from sitting on pool-edges,. We're on our second season in them, and they are still great, and that is helpful to budgets that are stretched thin from multiple racers in the family. So far we need to buy new ones only because our children are growing out of them!
