Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Perhaps I'm trying to turn back the clock and feel younger --any other reason makes no sense. I bought these most likely to wear under other clothes while working such as bib-overalls or instead of under ware with poly shorts when getting wet is likely. They are just a bit snug at the inside of legs. Soft enough but reminds me of ancient man made suits which were stiff with early fibers. Quite thin and comfortable.
