Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

Remember, this is sold as a rash guard, not a t-shirt. Rash guards are originally designed to be worn underneath a wetsuit and therefore are designed to fit tightly to your skin..almost like a second skin....so as not to upset the tight fit of a wetsuit. All that said, I found this rash guard to be well made and an appropriate size fit.
