  • 4/1/2015 Too wide for height

    2 Review stars By Valerie

I bought a size 6 for my 4 year old, and it is WAY too big. However, I tried it on my almost 7 year old, and it is much too wide/baggy even for him. I'm hoping it won't be too bad once my daughter grows into it. No need to size up, and would fit better on a huskier child.

  • 1/16/2015 Fits Small

4 Review stars By Canadian Mom

My daughter is a small 5 year old (very skinny) and I bought her the 6/6x suit. The suit fits in length (as per the measurement chart on the website) but it is quite loose. She hasn't used the suit in the pool yet but so far, it appears as though the suit fits small. I did not give this suit a 5 star rating because of the looseness but otherwise, it seems to be made of good quality material and the suit length is true to the measurement chart.

The fit of this suit just did not work. We tried two different sizes. The leg holes were very large, the body was too short on the smaller size with still large leg holes. We found a different brand suit here that worked better.

I read the reviews that this suit ran small. I ordered a 9/10 for my slim 8 year old. I had to return it for the 7/8. She wore it but it is too "gappy". I am now going to purchase the 5/6.

I bought two of these for my girls. The 2T fits my 10 month old perfectly. She is 22 pounds and 30.5 inches long. The 4T fits my 3 year old lengthwise but is way too big in width. She is 30 pounds and 39 inches long. I took the 4T in an inch and a half on each side and now it fits her perfectly and works great. Both girls stay warm in the pool while wearing them, whereas they didn't before.

  • 3/4/2015 It was a little large but I am keeping it because she will grow into it.

It seems like a good quality item. It was a little big but the 8 would have been too small. We are keeping it cuz she will grow into it

  • 4/29/2014 This didn't work out as well as I had hoped, but could be size issue

I purchased this suit for my 6yo son to use for swimming lessons in an extremely cold (indoor!) pool. I was excited that it would help but it didn't. I think the suit was too big, and therefore ended up having additional water in the suit, and then felt uncomfortable for him. The only time we used it, I couldn't convince him to stay in long enough to know if it worked for warmth. So my advice is BE careful to get the correct size! Also, only to torso has the thick insulation, he complained that that his chest and shoulders were still really cold!
