Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

After losing north of 30lbs since I started swimming and working out this past June, my old training swimsuit was seriously hanging in baggy layers on my 5’2” frame. I took a chance on 2 suits from this brand in a size 40 (I knew the 38 would be too small!). Both fit perfectly with no scary bits exposed! They rinse/wash/hang dry well and haven’t stretched out at all. The colors are still clear and vibrant and I’m really happy with them. Can’t wait for the next 25 lb drop in the near future (if I could kick my chocolate habit!) so I can order some more in the next size down. I have a relatively small top (38 inches) and the inevitable post menopausal pear bottom (clocking in at 44.5 inches). Great suits and the straps don’t dig in at all!
