Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

My grandson is a size 7, I got an 8 simply because the should fit tight however went they are wet and if tight they are difficult to remove. My only tip not a complaint. We bought two. Decent price and good quality
