I've been swimming for 10-12 years, and for as long as I can remember, I wore a size 34 or a size 36. I've been training in a size 36 water polo suit, which fits a little bit loose in the shoulders on me. As far as sizing goes, the brand has literally never mattered for me. Speedo, TYR, Nike etc all worked for me in a size 34 or 36. I bought this suit in a size 36 assuming that nothing had changed with Speedo's sizing. I cannot stress this enough; the suit was ABSURDLY small. I could barely even get it up past my knees. I tried on two other size 36 suits to make sure I wasn't insane or hadn't suddenly gained a ton of weight, and both of them fit me just fine. If I were going to buy this suit in a different size I would have to go at least two full sizes up!!!
