9/24/2019 Goggles

The goggles were way too tight. The additional nose piece adjusters were even smaller, too close together. No matter how hard I tried to adjust them they just were too uncomfortable. Not worth paying the postage to return them. I'll just give them to my grand kids to use.

2/13/2021 Comfortable, reliable, long-lasting

After 50+ years of swimming (15 of those competetively) and umpteen gazillion pairs of goggles, the Speed Sockets are my favorite so far. They are the most comfortable for my eye sockets (I'm usually in the water for an hour at a time), and my current three-year old pair has never leaked, nor have the bands broken. I literally put them on and forget about them. I don't dive into the water, so I can't speak to how well they hold on from a starting block. They look and feel nearly the same as the first day I put them on. Just a tiny, tiny dab of Quick Spit in each one at the beginning of a workout has kept my underwater view clear.

1/3/2020 Pinches nose

I really wish Speedo would bring back the Air Seal googles. These are the closest ones to the air seal and they pinch my nose. I can wear them in a meet but they really hurt if I wear them during a full practice.

9/19/2019 Best goggles I have ever used in over 30 years of swimming. They never leak.

These goggles have never leaked. The rubber stays soft and I have been using them almost daily for about 9 months now.

Lightweight, and a good fit for the right face/eye. I prefer the Vanquisher 2, but the Speed Socket is worth trying. For some reason the Vanquisher 2 fits and seals on my face slightly better than the S. Socket 2. But the S. Socket is well worth trying and it might fit your face better. It is a little more minimalist than the Vanq. 2.

Feels good. The start to ache a little after about 60 laps. Tolerable though.
