6/6/2016 I expected these to be better than the older model
I have competitive swimmers who go through multiple pairs of goggles. We like to have spares on hand just in case a pair gets lost or breaks at a meet. I ordered the 2.0 Vanquishers for the start of the summer season and I am less than impressed. The mirror finish is good and the kids say the fit is nice but the hole for the straps is an issue. The old design had a hole that ran parallel along the side rim of the plastic. The new hole heads toward the suction pieces. I can imagine after a few weeks, this will prove problematic. For ease of use, we have always added the bungee strap to goggles and found that these goggles did not make that task easy. The most common problem we have with these goggles is that the anchor for the nose piece breaks. When the plastic goes, that goggle side is useless. Since we have multiple pairs that break, we connect the remaining good side with another good side and bam, we're back in business. I had high hopes for improved design with the 2.0 but as far as I can see, Speedo didn't fix the main problem we experienced and may have created a new problem.

5/16/2015 googles
Googles are good but as soon as you adjust the band the retainer broke, it is real flimsy

7/30/2014 Look good but not good quality
Look good but not a good quality. My daugther dives from the block and it kept falling apart between the eye connector, not good for competitive swim.

7/27/2013 This pair did not work for us.
Just think we had a bad pair, the nose piece kept popping out and the spare ones did not work with it either.
