My daughter is a very tall (long in the torso) 7 year old. I used the sizing guide provided by swim outlet for a speedo suit as swimming lessons and stroke school have become more of an interest than "something fun to do." No suit up to this point was able to stand up to the use so I decided to go with a better one. Surprisingly she was a 12 size suit but I trusted the size guide and went with it. So glad I did. It fits her perfectly. Snug without being uncomfortably tight. The suit stays in place, does not ride up with diving or jumping in. She no longer pulls at her suit getting into and out of the pool as past swimsuits have stretched out in several places causing repeated adjustments to be made after each exit or entrance into or from the pool. I bought 2 suits for her and she likes to wear them both BUT this one was preferred by her over the suit with a thicker shoulder strap. Would definitely buy again without hesitation....but highly suggest sticking to the sizing guide and ordering a size up if your child sits at the high end of the sizing chart.

My daughter picked this suit out. I measured her and bought the size based off of measurements. We ended up buying a size 8 and it was WAY too small. It was frustrating to measure, but and then not fit especially since we had to cover return shipping. She was disappointed and I was frustrated!

Suit was exactly how it was described. Fits perfectly. I love the slip proof lining that prevents the swimsuit from riding up. Would highly recommend.
