Fits awesome. I measure a true women's size 12. I'm a men's 11. Finding this shoe is a Godsend. The sole does not support any cleat besides a road bike pedal. Not for spinning class. Found that out the hard way . I got a Fuji bike to match these shoes because they are so incredibly comfortable and stylish. The heel amd ankle parts have some kind of material that resists heel lift. It's like a one way check valve, smooth going in and snug sliding out. I took the shoes to the bike store and they installed the pedal cleat, which has yellow parts that the road bike pedal clamps down on. The toe box of this shoe is just enough room for me to feel toe spread but not touching anywhere. For contrast, I have boatranger spinning mountain bike shoes. The boatranger shoes are men's 35.5 because the toe box was so cramped. I had to add an insole to the boatranger shoes to get a proper fit. These shimano shoes are not like the clunky boatranger shoes. These shimano shoes are lightweight , carbon soled, steel cage vented at the toe box, and super easy to click in amd out of my road bike with.I'm a first timer in a cleared cycle shoe and my instant love of these shoes has yet to be tested for long rides. I'll say that this shoe would be improved if it had the two holes needed for the spinning class cleat.

Shimano® started off with humble beginnings in 1961. At the New York Toy Show, Shimano presented a 3-speed bike hub that sparked the popularity for multi-speed hubs. Once they became established with a head office in Japan, Shimano expanded to the United States.

In New York, Shimano started off small with only 3 employees. The main goal for Shimano new office was to be closer to the American customers and distributers. By being in the same country, Shimano was able to provide assistance and receive reviews faster. Their decision to become more accessible has paid off since Shimano now is a well-known and popular destination for bike gear including some of the most efficient bike shoes and road shoes on the market. Their ever-growing collection of Shimano bike shoes are popular among triathletes and those who are looking for a healthier lifestyle.

Some of the design benefits for Shimano bike shoes and Shimano road shoes are the oversized strap or the micro-adjust buckle that help you make a fast transition and keep your feet secure. Other Shimano bike shoes also have metal fiber sown into the lining to prevent the heel from lifting out of the shoe. As technology keeps growing, Shimano bike shoes are sure to keep expanding.
