  • 11/18/2019 Lense fogging

1 Review Stars By Garry Wanner

I followed the instruction pamphlet as to anti-fog lens care. After first 100 yds. fog started to appear. 200 yds. total lens was fog. Very disappointed. Watched a couple  You Tube presentations as to fog prevention. These goggles should not have fogged!
They have no value to me unless I do some of the suggestions on You Tube - tooth paste, baby shampoo, anti-fog solution. I can buy less expensive goggles if these suggestions are my recourse.
I have other Master swim friends at the Haselwood Y who have asked me how I like the new goggles. Same answer given as above.

  • 7/3/2016 Best goggles I ever bought!

    5 Review Stars By OldTriGuy

Read some great reviews on these goggles. Purchased them for my race day (triathlon) goggles. Lens are crystal clear, straps super easy to adjust, provided an excellent seal on my small face while the straps did not have to be overly tightened. As I read, they do provide an excellent view for sighting and drafting. Highly recommended.

  • 10/3/2019 Good visibility, take getting used to.

4 Review Stars By Joe H

I like the upward visibility, and visibility to the sides is good too (compared to a regular Vanquisher type goggle).  I did find that with the increased upward visibility it took me half a session to find the wall properly for a flip turn (I kept flipping a little early since I could see the wall sooner), but that's easy enough to adjust to.  The fit is okay, a bit firm compared to a Vanquisher, and lacking the adjustability since the nose is fixed, but this should help keep them from falling apart too quickly.  They are a bit of a splurge, but so far I''m happy with the quality.  FWIW I''d rather have a small hard-case (like the kind Arena sells) than the microfiber bag, but that's not a big deal.

  • 7/15/2019 Great fit and vision, but poor quality

3 Review Stars By Michael I.

These fit great and are by far the clearest vision lenses I’ve ever had on a pair of goggles, but the nose bridge snapped as I was putting them on for the third time I ever used them.  Right before a race, luckily I had spares.  The vision in them is so good, that I bought another pair and will just live with the poor quality.

  • 1/11/2019 Great visibility but poor construction

    1 Review Stars By SwimBikeFlute

When I got my first pair (clear), after reading reviews in a swimming magazine, I loved the fit, clarity and wide range of view. Bought another in a darker lense tint. But after less than 16 hours of pool workouts, the nose-bridge (which is NOT replaceable) on the first pair developed numerous small cracks and broke. In all other respects, the goggles look brand-new. The second pair has the same problem, which showed up after about 20 hours of pool time. In my opinion, that's much too soon to be throwing away a pair of relatively expensive goggles, no matter how nice they are. Not going to be buying another pair from Roka. I tried to upload a photo but keep getting an error message....

  • 9/7/2018 there were scratches inside the googles.

1 Review Stars By eva mayen

the fist open water swimming in Croatia i got my googles full of scratches in one side of the goggles
I bought them 2 months ago, but I wanted to use them on my trip later.
the visibility was horrendous after my swimming the inside was full of unpleasantly sticky or messy substance.

then i did not use them anymore. to much money for one unpleasant swimming.

Bought these for my son who swims competitively. He loves that the tint is just perfect for day or night swimming. Fit is great, and doesn't fog.

  • 10/25/2017 Snapped right before my race

    2 Review Stars By Christine

I purchased these goggles after reading reviews about them for open water swimming. I wore them a handful of times and right before my race, as I was walking to the water, they snapped. They also fogged up a lot in both the pool and open water.  I don't recommend.

About This Brand

ROKA

ROKA is a triathlete company that specializes in wetsuit production. Designed to make every swim that you have faster than the one before, ROKA focuses on pure speed. The company was born in 2010 and became official in 2011 by co-founders Rob Canales and Kurt Spenser. The two co-founders are former All-American swimmers from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. They spent two years in research and design, trying on suits themselves and testing them on athletes and middle of the package groupers. They swear and stand by their suits being the fastest on the market, with Ironman World Championships behind them, they look forward to continuing to improve their suits.

Frustrated with the selection of suits that was on the market at the time, the co-founders of ROKA decided to take matters into their own hands and design suits that they themselves would enjoy wearing. They came up with the Maverick design which puts you in the fastest body position possible and facilitates proper rotation for a fast freestyle swim. One of the best features of the suit is the comfort in your shoulders during your movement as you're swimming. ROKA is committed to continually make suits that you will not only enjoy, but ones that you can be sure to take the prize in.
