  • 7/29/2013 nice suit

    4 Review Stars By Katy

I really like this suit's cut. It's hard to find string backs that don't also have really high cut legs. However, it's only lightly lined in the front. I wish the lining was heavier and covered the full inside of the suit. I use it for lap swimming and it works well, but due to the lack of lining I don't feel comfortable wearing it poolside. Overall, a good suit, worth what I paid for it. I would buy this brand again.

Loved the suit but I wanted the sale price so I purchased a small and I normally would have ordered a medium, which was out of stock. I am 5" 8" & 145 lbs . . .turned out to be a lil tight,so it is pretty true to size, but otherwise I really liked the product.

  • 2/9/2013 Super cute style, runs a little small.

    3 Review Stars By gottawin82

Super cute styling with the stitching running up and down the sides ( definitely creates a nice curve even if you don't have any)
Suit does run slightly small however, probably due to the S, M , L sizing
I have a longer torso so sometimes suits can be too short, this is one of those cases where instead of a L, I'd need and XL just for the length.
I will end up giving this suit to a friend who is more proportionately shaped cause it's just a little too tight to be comfortable.
Modest cut on the legs is nice, and straps fit the shoulders well.

Needed another practice suit and this fits the bill. Great price and fits well. I measure a 34 but after my experience with Waterpro, flimsy and quickly stretched out fabric, I ordered a 32. I am very long in the torso and despite the fit being snug it wears well in the water. The cut around the hip is slightly lower than I like but does not affect kicking.

Nice quality. Wish it would have fit.  I read other reviews before ordering
and at least one said true to size. It wasn't! Too small. Not enough coverage. Returned.

The size wasn't an issue for me because I had tried this one at the store so I knew which one to get.  The price is much better here than at the store and shipping was fast.  If you've worn Orca before, this is a great product.  I don't think I'll ever cheat on it :)

More From ORCA

In 1992, Scott Unsworth, a former New Zealand age-group triathlon champion, stopped competing due to a chronic back injury. Through his experience working as a swim coach, and from his first-hand experience in triathlon competition, Scott saw that the wetsuits being used by triathletes were completely inadequate for swimming, and he started a company called Performance Speedsuits Ltd.

Scott's early designs were directly inspired by his personal experience with the demands of the sport, and to this day Orca's designs and features are the direct result of working with professional athletes. In the five short years since Orca was launched in 1995 the brand was able to firmly establish itself as a favorite among the world's elite triathletes, and at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia two thirds of all triathlon competitors wore Orca Speedsuits in the swim leg of the event.

Orca products continue to be designed by and tested on athletes, not computer models, so you can be sure that the designs, materials and production techniques that go into Orca's championship-winning suits are always on the cutting edge.
