  • 4/20/2013 Meant for trimmer mem

    rating star By Mike A.

I bought an extra large and I felt like I was poured into it.  It was more tight than I had expected.   I hope it will stretch some with use, otherwise I will have to shrink to fit it.

  • 6/27/2015 The large was too tight

    rating star By Patrick Callinan

I am six feet tall, 172 lbs.  The large size was way too tight.

  • 4/5/2015 Nice sun protection

    rating star By Coach Bos

When I want to swim in the sun I use this for warm-up or even my whole workout.  It's like a drag suit, so a tough work-out is a given.  But the XL is a great, snug fit on my 45" chest, no extra material.  It's the ticket for someone who's already had skin cancer or does want it.

  • 8/22/2014 Does what its supposed to do

    rating star By Kae

I'm just under 180 lbs and the XL size fit great. I'm big for my height (5"4"'), and this fit like a second skin.

  • 7/1/2014 Works great!

rating star By Jake the snake

I reviewed others, and did go one size bigger and it fits great. It does stick to you when it's gets wet, but one pull away from the body and it doesn't stick to you. I've swam laps with it one and it doesn't bother or rub you raw. Over all it works pretty good!

  • 5/31/2014 Good feel of durability of fabric. Very form fitting around the waist.

    rating star By Gieson

Good feel of durability of fabric. Very form fitting around the waist/midsection area, but with a lot of use, this becomes more comfortable.

  • 5/31/2014 Great fit at first, but fabric becomes loose and stretchy with heavy use.

    rating star By Gieson

Great fit at first, but fabric becomes loose and stretchy with heavy use in the pool. May have been a good idea to choose down a size to allow for the eventual stretch of the fabric.

  • 5/1/2013 Runs Small

    rating star By David B.

I bought both an extra large and a 2xl I could not tell the difference between the two sizes. I am 6"5" and about 210 lbs. I ended up giving the shirt to my little brother he is at 5"11" and 160 the 2xl fits him like it should of fit me. i switched to the oneill Long sleeve crew 3xl much better fit.

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
