great product, just going to be hard to put on and take off due to neck and back problems.
would like a harder sole, and a zippered side.

  • 10/26/2012 Booties for scuba

3 Review Stars By Scuba Sue

I had a pair of these 2 years ago. Thought I was buying the same ones but the style has changed slightly so I needed to return the first  pair and get one size bigger. Also, if they had a zipper, they would be really great. And if the souls were just a tiny bit thicker, I wouldn't feel the impact of the rocks so much. Still, they're comfortable and I hope they hold up better than the old ones. They seem to be reinforced better.

  • 2/21/2011 O'Neill Bootie does the job

4 Review Stars By Robert M.

The latest version of this bootie features an over-the-arch stabilizing strap, but I don't miss it. They fit just fine and snuggly without it. Love the round toe for extra warmth and roominess. A bit hard to pull inside-out for drying, but do-able.

    4 Review Stars By Suits

I am a womens size 7.5 and ordered the mens boots in a size 6 which is supposed to be a womens 8. My big toe touches the tip of the boot, however I was told tight boots are needed for surfing so I kept them and they work great.

Bought for the wife, she is very picky about her feet and ankles,  3mm is good for temperate to warm waters... Great product.

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
