Very pretty suite! I just wish I ordered it a size smaller while they still had it. :'(

I ordered this suit because I liked the Nike Core-Cut Polyester training suit (the solid colored ones everyone has been wearing with the nice skinny straps). The solid color ones are 100% polyester, these ARE NOT so be warned (i.e. they are not the "long-lasting" fabric I was used to, but what normal suits are made of with an inner lining) .

    Pros: Good cut on back
Cons: Not 100% polyester - will stretch quickly.

  • 2/6/2010 Swimmers with long torsos beware!

    3 Review Stars By beantownswimmer

I had the same issue with this suit as another Nike suit I ordered, in that the measurements they are using seem to have change rather dramatically since I last bought a Nike suit a couple of years ago.  I ordered the 34, which is my normal size in Speedo, but this suit was far too big and gapped on the sides and the top of my bum.  I probably should have ordered a 30, but think if I had, I would have been overexposed because this suit wouldn't have stretched.  Not sure this suit is a great option for people with long torsos.

  • 11/11/2008 Fit and Feel are outstanding

5 Review Stars By Cindy H.

Great fit (32) and feel.  I love the open back design, as I train in an outdoor pool and can avoid some of the no-tan lines left by thick straps.
I now have 3 of these suits and can't wait for Nike to bring out more designs.

This is a great suit, but be sure you buy one size smaller than usual.  Fits perfectly if you follow that one rule!  Great tan lines!

  • 2/26/2009 weird fit

2 Review Stars By swim lover

Am a competititve swimmer who has used many speedo and tyr suits.  Found this suit to be cut in toward the waist, creating a huge gag that would create drag when swimming.  The color was brilliant, and full lining was a plus, but the overall fit greatly detrated from this suit.

The fit is large for the size and as usual Nike has an unusual cut .
But I love the pattern and am keeping it .
Will use it for lap swimming only

    4 Review Stars By J. T.

I was told to order a smaller size when ordering Nike, which is pretty much true. Suit fits reasonably well except that it is a bit revealing in the back. If you are simply looking for a comp suit without drawing attention to yourself, this is not the one for you. Also, bought another type of Nike suit that is a bit smaller, though the same size. Can't beat the price nevertheless.

I feel like the straps are way too small in the back and the back is cut to low. Over all it just needed better support through out the whole suit.

When you think of Nike, you might not think of Nike Swim. Nike is known for its well-crafted sporting gear and training equipment, as well as its easily recognizable swoosh logo and "Just Do It" slogan.

More recently, the company has gained popularity for its production of competitive swimwear. Swimmers are now turning to Nike for swim goggles, Nike competition suits, Nike swim caps and Nike swimming bags. Nike swimsuits and Nike swimming warm-ups are always a great choice for any swimmer.

Go Hydra with Nike's popular line of technical suits. They have a specially formulated Nike Hydra material to help reduce drag. You can also choose an array of products from the "Nike Swim Team" line. By creating quality men's Nike swimsuits, women's Nike swimsuits and Nike swim kickboards, Nike Swim is beginning to make a splash in the swimming world.
