Positives: Wide shoulder straps could reduce localized pressure on the nerves that run from neck through shoulder and arms, hence reducing funny bone effect and/or pain to lower arms and hands caused by bras that have thinner straps.  The wide rib cage band has the hook and eye closures (smaller size bras have three rows of two hook and eye latches, and the larger bras apparently offer the 3X3 combination because that band is wider).  Both the shoulder and rib cage straps are adjustable.

Negatives: Although the shoulder straps are adjustable, I found three faults with them: they’re too short, adjustment is in the inside (flushed against your body), and it’s a flimsy looking Velcro.  Another problem: there is no discernible pocket to those B and C cups that I purchased.  I’m a twig of a person (rib cage under the breast is 26” and with the breast, it’s 29”).  So given that a Bali 32C bra fits me loosely, the 30C Jubralee bra should have worked, but it ended up being too tight even with the outermost hook.  I was prepared for the possible short rib cage band, since I had purchased a hook and eye extender.  The extender, however, presented another problem because I thought that the picture display for the bra was of the 3X3 combo (perhaps for the larger bras).  My small bra required an extender that would fit the 2X3 set.  One reviewer complained that unlike the Maia, the Jubralee causes a uni-boob.   Extenders can add to this problem by compromising a bra’s symmetry.  It’s bad enough that the cups are nearly non-existent on the Jubralee.  Anyway, I ended up with crushed boobs and a choked rib cage.  I should have read the Amazon reviews before purchasing this item.

I have 36E boobs.  This sports bra is the best on the market.

I'm always a little nervous with a Velcro closure on a full figure bra (ordered a 34DD) because they have come undone in the past.  My most recent Moving Comfort bra has been fine (but it's seen better days) so I ordered a replacement.  The Velcro closures (to adjust the straps) on this new bra are quite rigid and somewhat pointed - all resting / rubbing on my collar bone.  I would have returned this if I didn't need a new sports bra so badly.

Moving Comfort

Moving Comfort was created in 1977 by Ellen Wessel, a young woman from Arlington, VA. Wessel took up running and began training for marathons in order to quit a smoking habit. The 26-year-old soon became frustrating by the complete nonexistence of women's running clothes on the market. Along with business partner Elizabeth Goeke, Wessel co-founded Moving Comfort under the mission of designing athletic apparel specifically and exclusively for women.

Over the years, the company grew into one of the leading producers of women's workout gear. In 1996, Wessel and Goeke received the Woman of the Year in Sports Award. In 2008, the two were elected into the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame.

With each of its products, Moving Comfort strives to achieve fit, function, and fabric that are of the highest quality. The result is workout apparel that won't cause pinching, chafing, or other discomfort. One of the company's featured products is the sports bra, which comes in a variety of styles, including the popular "Fiona," "Juno," and "Maia" lines. Unmatched research and development goes into perfecting the fit and stretch of Moving Comfort sports bras in order to cater to women of all sizes.

More than 30 years later, the company operates under the principle that "moving" encompasses all types of activities. This includes everything from walking and running, to skiing and rock climbing, to basketball, volleyball, tennis, and softball — and active women need clothes than can handle any type of movement. Moving Comfort understands and designs clothes for a woman's body, whatever that body was meant to do.

Today, the company remains true to its roots, boasting that every stitch they’ve ever sewn was intended for a woman. Moving Comfort believes if a girl or woman is comfortable when she’s working out, she’s more likely to keep at it. As such, the company views its well-fitting and technically superior garments as a means to encourage women to get fit and stay fit. Moving Comfort dedicates itself to their motto: A fit woman is a powerful woman.
