I am 6’3” & 160lbs. and the medium fit perfectly. Wore for the first time at conference championships; took 3.5” off my 200 free and 13.6” off my 500 free. This suit is very fast...highly recommend.

Disclaimer: I am a breaststroker and have worn many different suits and suit brands including Speedo, TYR, Finis, A3, Arena, and Mizuno.

First off, and IMHO, when you are looking for what size to get, don't size down ridiculously. If this is your first time wearing Mizuno, take the time to measure your hips and waist as accurately as possible. I sized down on my last suit and it ripped.

That being said, I wore this suit to my champ meet this past weekend and I love it! I have worn the GIII ST and now the GIV MR and this suit by far feels the best. Flexibility is a tiny bit of an issue when bending over or executing an open turn, but that might have just been my personal apprehension after my ST ripped doing a squat jump before a race - again, get the right size. The suit dries quickly, fits tightly around the hips (high waisted on my body type which I didn't mind). The only thing that bothers me is it's a little loose around the leg hole and I wish the suit itself was a tiny bit shorter.

In summary, I highly recommend this suit - ST or MR. As a breaststroker who has swum in both, I personally recommend the MR.

7/30/2020 Not your Average Tech Suit

I tried it in the pool for the first time ever yesterday and wow did my underwater feel great.

Get what the official size chart says. Sizes run small. I got a small and my butt was shoved into my brain, but its all worth it.

When at a meet, budget 30 minutes to put this on, as it took me 25 minutes to get right and snug.

When fitted properly, I notice huge gains in my dolphin kicks. I'm still getting used to breast kicks and backstroke starts as I haven't had suit this compressed before, but I can feel that "snap" everyone has been talking about with every kick.
