  • 4/25/2021 Works well; nice size bottle

    5 Review Stars By hstef

Rubbing alcohol is a tried and true inexpensive remedy for water in the ears. This also has glycerine, which I think makes it potentially less irritating. Seems to work fine and the dropper works well so that it is easy just to get a few drops in the ear.

regarding the ear drops: they definitely work, but they are very very warm and can be a little uncomfortable. this may just be my ears though-- i don't know.

  • 2/19/2013 Prevent swimmer's ear problems

    5 Review Stars By Lola505

I've found it a good idea to use a drying agent after swimming to prevent ear problems.  My previous brand had been discontinued, and I was glad to find this product.

  • 7/8/2016 Does the Job

4 Review Stars By Jim Garrett

This stuff does the job.  Really, what more can you say?  As I've grown older, I have occasional ear irritation from previous flair-ups from swimmers ear, so I try to keep them dry.  I like having a handy squirt bottle of drying agent on hand.  This is a good size at a decent cost.

About This Brand

Macks

Swimming is a wonderful exercise, and Mack's Ear Care helps to prevent swimmer's ear and other maladies. In 1962, rising symphony orchestra musician Ray Benner collaborated with an almost-retired pharmacist who was interested in selling earplugs. Benner, an avid swimmer, diligently worked and created the first silicone earplug- and aptly changed the name to the more aesthetic Mack's Pillow Soft Ear Plugs. Mack, the name of the previous owner, has expanded their product line to encompass several different types of ear protection products.
