They are well made and fit fine everywhere except at the leg opening which are too big. I tried the medium and the small with no luck. The medium fit better overall, but had even more slop in the leg openings. Small was rather too snug, but still legs were open. Since, my purpose was to be able to jump into chilly water without flooding the shorts, having the leg openings be water scoops was not going to work. I went with the O'Neill Men's 1.5MM Reactor II Neoprene Shorts (available at SwimOutlet) instead which have leg grippers and fit well everywhere.
